Most Commonly Asked Questions

Basic Expectations in the Consultation
The consult is an opportunity to get to know the bride - gathering informationregarding her personality, style and her own vision of the wedding. Preferred colors come into play also during the consult. Based on these inputs, we create prototypes for her to preview - a great opportunity for the bride to be educated and visualize the flowers for her wedding. We and the bride play with her flowers and color - SO MUCH FUN - and become friends.

Contributions to the Consultation
Pictures and magazine cut-outs; internet photos, pictures and swatches of the bride's dress and the bridemaids' dresses; swatches of preffered color tones; logistical information of the wedding - ie: ceremony and reception location; time line; bridal party count; table centerpiece count; cake style; flower budget expectations.

Who Can I Bring to the Consultation
Ideally, we recommend taking your fiance with you if available and interested. Commonly, the bride's mother comes to the consult. We suggest no more than two people come to the consult as we are unable to give full undivided attention and comfort to larger groups.

How Do I Book For a Consultation
By appointment. Our available hours are Monday through Friday after 2:00 PM. and Saturdays and Sundays depending on the wedding/event calendar.

Expectations
After the consult, we may come up with a preliminary quote as a point of reference. Depending on the extent of the floral arrangements, we are able to respond within one week with a proposal.
